1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Lucid Typer ("the Service"), including the desktop application and website at lucidtyper.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Lucid Typer is a desktop productivity tool that simulates human-like typing behavior and provides text processing capabilities. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

3. Intended Use

Lucid Typer is designed for legitimate productivity, accessibility, and educational purposes. You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and institutional policies. We do not endorse, encourage, or condone the use of this tool for academic dishonesty, fraud, plagiarism, or any violation of academic integrity policies.

4. User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for your use of the Service and any consequences that arise from such use
  • You will comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including your institution's academic integrity policies
  • You will not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials

5. No Guarantees

We make no guarantees regarding the performance, accuracy, or effectiveness of any feature of the Service, including but not limited to text processing, AI detection bypass, or typing simulation. Results may vary and we do not guarantee that processed text will be undetectable by any specific tool or system.

6. Accounts and Billing

  • Free accounts are limited to 500 characters per day
  • Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and renew automatically
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period
  • Word limits for the AI Humanizer are enforced per billing cycle and do not roll over
  • We reserve the right to change pricing, features, or usage limits at any time with reasonable notice
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion

7. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers for certain features. By using these features, you acknowledge that your data may be processed by these providers in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or availability of third-party services.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Lucid Typer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the application without prior written consent. Text you submit for processing remains your own — we claim no ownership over your content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lucid Typer and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, academic standing, employment, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lucid Typer, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or institutional policies.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to abuse of the Service, violation of these Terms, or fraudulent activity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which the operator resides.
